Thomas Bohne, DDS, is the owner and CEO of the company GOS^®. Thanks to his long-time experience as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and specialist for dental implantology, he is recognized as a qualified expert in his field.
Practicing in his own doctor’s office for oral surgery and implantology in Northeim near the college town Göttingen, Dr. Bohne is also a member of several specialist societies such as the BDO (Professional Association of German Oral Surgeons), BDIZ EDI (European Association of Dental Implantologists)and the DGZI (German Association for Implant Dentistry).

During his work for the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Göttingen Dr. Bohne developed his first Göttingen implantology model for medical seminar classes in implantology. As it was the first anatomical mandible to be introduced to the market in the field of dental implant training, it was registered as a granted utility model in 1996 and patented by the German Patent Office in 1998. The company Göttinger OP-Simulationssysteme was founded as early as 1996. At the same time the trademark GOS^® was registered.

In the meantime we have developed a model range of currently more than 70 medical models that cover the whole area of products for dental implant training, from standard implantations to complex augmentation simulations on maxillas and mandibulas. For many years now GOS^® has been a well-known brand in the field of advanced dental implant training,nationally as well as internationally.
