OP-Simulationssysteme by Dr. Bohne
(Surgery simulation units by Bohne, DDS)
Since its beginnings in the 1990s the company Göttinger OP-Simulationssysteme (Göttingen surgery simulation units), situated in Northeim near the college town Göttingen, has been developing and producing high quality anatomical implantology models under the direction of Thomas Bohne, DDS, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and specialist for implantology.
As the first company worldwide GOS® specialized in producing practice material and training models for education and advanced training in implantology. Thanks to more than 20 years’experience in this highly specialized field of dentistry and the long-time special knowledge in implantology of CEO and owner, Thomas Bohne, DDS, GOS® has become a national and international brand and a market leader for implant training models and material for further training. Today, we count nationally and internationally renowned contributors, universities, specialist societies and producers of dental implants among our clients.
For us, our model production always focuses on the realistic representation of anatomical structures of the upper and lower jaw and the reproducible simulation of the various bone structures and qualities that present an essential prerequisite for surgery simulation. Here GOS® benefits from the development of several highly specialized techniques in the field of dosing technology with synthetic material.
Our surgery models are specifically designed for simulating, practicing and showing procedures of implantology and augmentation techniques in the context of advanced training seminars and hands-on classes. Our product range includes 70 medical models for the simulation of implant insertion, sinus lift models, bone splitting models and several augmentation models for the training of the latest augmentation techniques and guided bone regeneration procedures. Specific demonstration models and the Type S Model Range, especially designed for the field of prosthodontics and dental technology, complete our range of anatomical mandible and maxillamodels.

Type A Model Range
Anatomical models
Our anatomical models from the Type A Model Range are designed for all implantology and augmentation procedures, ideally combined with the Implantology Phantom Head. The system presents an innovative complete anatomical impression coupled with simple and practical handling.
Type B Model Range
Base models
Our Type B Model Range is a very compact series of models that focuses on the basic anatomy of the human jaw bone. The indications range from the implant insertion to augmentation techniques, bone splitting, sinus lifts and nerve transposition.
Type S Model Range
Based and prosthodontics models
Our Type S Model Range includes two versions of an upper and lower jaw, each of which has an attached base for the simulation of implantation procedures and lateral augmentation techniques, impressions with polyether materials, preparation of dental prothesis and prosthetic treatment.
Accessories
You can find all the supplies you need for the transportation or fastening of our surgery simulation models or for simplifying the associated work processes in our carefully selected supply of accessories. It also contains complementary material for further training such as surgical templates, saw models and panoramic radiographs.
